Fatigue Management
Driver fatigue is an important safety hazard for the road transport industry. It can lead to errors and accidents. Fatigue Laws are part of a national strategy that apply fatigue-regulated heavy vehicles. These laws are introduced to reduce fatigue as a factor in the road and workplace fatalities. Under the general duty of care legislation, all parties in the supply chain must take all reasonable steps to prevent the fatigue of the drivers of heavy vehicles. Through this program, participants will learn a wide array of skills, strategies, and knowledge for the management of fatigue. These include identifying and acting upon the signs of fatigue. You will also learn how to implement the right strategies to reduce fatigue during work activities in accordance with the new national legislative and regulatory requirements.
The Fatigue Management Training Covers:
Importance of Fatigue Management in the Road Transport Industry
Proper lifestyle choices for fatigue management
Causes, effects, and signs of fatigue
Legislation that supports fatigue management
